Beautiful Holidays!



Welcome to this new post in my blog, in this opportunity I’m going to tell you about one of my best holidays, and not so far from home! First of all I’m from the city of Ancud on the big island of Chiloé and I know what you are thinking: ¡Such a good place to spend the time during the holidays! Yes, but I have lived all my life there and the city is not very interesting, however there are many places around that typically we don’t know like magic forests, hidden beaches and exciting paths to take a break physically and mentally.

It was like yesterday... well, really it was in 2017 when I travel with my boyfriend with the mission to find this hidden places on the island, so the first place we visited was “Duhatao” 30 km from the city of Ancud.  

The main activity we did was camping there, and it was the first time I did something like that, so it was a very funny and unique experience! Also, we walked through a very difficult path but it was worth it because the landscape was very charming once in the top!

We were a few days there, maybe 2 or 3, and it was the best so far because I spent that beautiful time with a person very special to me ❤️

    I always wanted to do something like that, theres so much hidden places in the south of Chile that only are known by the locals, and it's just like get out of the common tourist rutes.

    Hi Francisco, how are you? Camping there must be so wonderful! I know very little about the Greater Island of Chiloé but, what I know I love, I love its food, its landscapes, and its stories, but obviously, I would like to know more about it. You are so lucky to live there!

    I have been to Castro, Chiloé, but I have never been to Ancud I have only seen it on television and I remember that they showed the famous "curanto en olla" which is different from the traditional "curanto al hoyo".

  When I think about the future, I have very bad feelings because the future is the result of the actions in the present, and I am very concern about problems as climate change and how our planet is more damaged each day by contamination and bad decisions of the countries that affect our health and the ecosystems and cities we lived. Our beloved faculty

  First of all, I love my career and there are a lot of positive things I can say about the curriculum and subjects we have to study in musical interpretation, but sadly there are also good ideas bad implemented in the curriculum that produce a waste of time in many cases.   A good example of this are some theoretical subjects when students of all careers have to assist and the format is like a “forum” led by various teachers, is a good idea to share opinions with different students from different careers, but manage a course with over 60 students and organize that is truly difficult, in my experience, it doesn't result well and neither productive.   Another point related to this kind of subjects are their extension over 3 hours, adding travel times to the faculty.. ¡Is a lot of time!, You spend a whole afternoon in these subjects, and when the career requires you to study every day your instrument a lot of hours, this is a huge problem with the main objective o...

Fantasy and War

  When I was a child, I discovered a film studio that told me the most fantastic stories and I’d love until today: The Studio Ghibli!  There are many movies I love from Studio Ghibli, but my favorite is “Howl's Moving Castle”. The movie tells the story about a young girl who is bewitched turning herself into a 90 year old woman, then she begins a long journey finding the mysterious Moving Castle and living a lot of crazy and magic situations with the mysterious wizard Howl.  I really love this movie because it talks about many topics. The life of Sophie and her emotional development along her journey, leave your family behind, confront different hard situations and grow up along the way.   In the other side the movie also talks about the war, the suffering of the people and the horror of death and destruction, and all for no reason! I really like hot this topic is treated and contrasted with all the magic and fantasy of the movie, is just marvelous!  I like...
