  First of all, I love my career and there are a lot of positive things I can say about the curriculum and subjects we have to study in musical interpretation, but sadly there are also good ideas bad implemented in the curriculum that produce a waste of time in many cases.   A good example of this are some theoretical subjects when students of all careers have to assist and the format is like a “forum” led by various teachers, is a good idea to share opinions with different students from different careers, but manage a course with over 60 students and organize that is truly difficult, in my experience, it doesn't result well and neither productive.   Another point related to this kind of subjects are their extension over 3 hours, adding travel times to the faculty.. ¡Is a lot of time!, You spend a whole afternoon in these subjects, and when the career requires you to study every day your instrument a lot of hours, this is a huge problem with the main objective o...

  When I think about the future, I have very bad feelings because the future is the result of the actions in the present, and I am very concern about problems as climate change and how our planet is more damaged each day by contamination and bad decisions of the countries that affect our health and the ecosystems and cities we lived. However, thinking positive, there are many things I really like to see in the future, principally about astronomy and the discovered of new planets or even life in any part of the universe, and of course the first colonies on other planets, maybe Mars, I don’t know exactly what year It would be but that’s a time I would really like to travel!   Thinking about a place to go in the future, I would like to go to modern cities in USA or Europe and see how the amazing things we see in Science Fiction movies come true, maybe flaying cars, robots and holograms everywhere! When I think in my future job, I don’t think in just one job, I imagine myself doing many things as a musician. One of the main things I imagine is working as a teacher sharing all the knowledge I have learned in the career and contribute to form new artists. About the salary I don’t matter how much money I earn, because I don't want fancy things and I'll be happy doing something I like, just having some economy stability is enough for me.   Besides working as a teacher, I want to continue perfecting myself as a musician, doing concerts as soloist pianist and with another musicians in chamber music.   Writing about my bucket list is not easy because I think we will never know what is going to happen in the future and all our plans can change suddenly. However, there are a few things I want to do in the next years, first of all, finishing my studies in the university, the career has been really long and there are just a couple of years to finish, that would be a big achieve to me! After that, I would like to do a master course and continue perfecting myself, I think it will be a big challenge, but I know I can do it.  There are things in my bucket list I already have done, one of them is camping during the holidays, and as I already commented in a previous post it was a wonderful experience.   When I was a child, I discovered a film studio that told me the most fantastic stories and I’d love until today: The Studio Ghibli!  There are many movies I love from Studio Ghibli, but my favorite is “Howl's Moving Castle”. The movie tells the story about a young girl who is bewitched turning herself into a 90 year old woman, then she begins a long journey finding the mysterious Moving Castle and living a lot of crazy and magic situations with the mysterious wizard Howl.  I really love this movie because it talks about many topics. The life of Sophie and her emotional development along her journey, leave your family behind, confront different hard situations and grow up along the way.   In the other side the movie also talks about the war, the suffering of the people and the horror of death and destruction, and all for no reason! W elcome to this new post in my blog, in this opportunity I’m going to tell you about one of my best holidays, and not so far from home! First of all I’m from the city of Ancud on the big island of Chiloé and I know what you are thinking: ¡Such a good place to spend the time during the holidays! Yes, but I have lived all my life there and the city is not very interesting, however there are many places around that typically we don’t know like magic forests, hidden beaches and exciting paths to take a break physically and mentally. It was like yesterday... we ll, really it was in 2017 when I travel with my boyfriend with the mission to find this hidden places on the island, so the first place we visited was “Duhatao” 30 km from the city of Ancud.   The main activity we did was camping there, and it was the first time I did something like that, so it was a very funny and unique experience!
